DofE Expeditions for Schools
Azarias Training Ltd works in close partnership with schools to deliver high-quality Duke of Edinburgh’s Award expeditions at Bronze, Silver & Gold level.
We offer flexible DofE support tailored to each school, including training, practice, and qualifying expeditions.
Our experienced supervisors and accredited assessors ensure all expeditions are delivered safely, professionally, and in line with DofE and AALA requirements.
 What schools can expect:
- Initial meeting - a planning meeting to agree requirements, dates, locations & delivery.
- Pre-expedition paperwork - risk assessments, itineraries, communication for parents, expedition updates.
- Parent & participant portal - online platform with information including food, kit, first aid and expedition requirements.
- Training and/or practice expedition - expedition skills training including navigation, campcraft & soft skills.
- Qualifying expedition - professionally supervised and assessed by accredited assessors.
- Assessor reports - individual reports and expedition feedback.
Location & Prices:
We deliver DofE expeditions in a range of suitable locations across the UK, carefully selected to match the level of the Award, the experience of the group, and the learning outcomes required.
We offer a standard expedition package, which provides a clear and reliable framework for schools. However, we also understand that every school is different and are happy to discuss flexible options where needed.
Our priority is always the quality of the experience for students — ensuring expeditions are safe, well-supported, and genuinely positive, rather than rushed or compromised.
